ways to give
Your donation goes a long way at Jewish Family Service. As One Source for a Lifetime of Help, we’re here for the entire San Diego community. When a family needs help following a disaster, when a teenage mother needs parenting skills, when a family yearns to adopt a child, when an older adult needs a friendly visitor, when a Jewish single parent needs help staying connected to the community—with your support we make a difference in people’s lives.
We were recently awarded Charity Navigator's 4-star rating for sound fiscal management and for our ability to "efficiently manage and grow our finances" and "execute our mission in a fiscally responsible way.”
The 4-star rating means we are in the highest ranking quarter of all the charities examined by Charity Navigator. As they put it, "This 'exceptional' designation from Charity Navigator differentiates Jewish Family Service of San Diego from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust." Our ability to help depends on you. When people come to us with little hope and facing desperate circumstances, it’s your support that allows us to restore hope through vital services. Your donation, made directly to Jewish Family Service, is a lifeline for someone in need.

United Way—California State Employees Charitable Campaign The California State Employees Charitable Campaign (CSECC) was established in 1957 to provide a single charitable fundraising event throughout the state. During the fall, State employees are given an opportunity to participate in the campaign and are provided a payroll deduction pledge form.
