jewish employment network (JEN)
In our continued response to the economic crisis and the increasing unemployment rate in San Diego (now exceeding 10%), we’ve launched a new program to serve the many Jewish community members affected with job loss.
The Jewish Employment Network builds on our already established series of career planning and job search workshops by adding services to support our clients in their job search. They will receive mentoring from professionals in the community, one-on-one job coaching, and access to a variety of job postings. Funding for the Jewish Employment Network of JFS is generously provided by the San Diego Jewish Community Economic Recovery Fund, a joint project of the Jewish Community Foundation and the United Jewish Federation of San Diego County.
Employers JEN is aware of the extensive time and money it requires to hire the right person. Our goal is to make your employee search easier. Through JEN, we have the opportunity to expedite the process and find you the right, qualified applicant for your company. The next time you have a position to fill, take advantage of the services we have to offer through JEN. An Employment Specialist will match the experience and capabilities of our extensive pool of applicants with your job requirements and specifications. We look forward to working with you and assisting your company in meeting the demands of the workforce.
