  • Lack of housing/homelessness
  • Lack of food/hunger
  • Unemployment/vocational needs
  • Medical concerns
  • Legal issues
  • Mental Illness
  • Recovery from a natural disaster
  • Drug or substance abuse

Our professional case managers are dedicated to providing services critical to the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of our clients. We work to empower our clients to return to self-sufficiency.

Programs and Services

Crisis Case Management - Our professional crisis case managers are dedicated to empowering our clients to return to self-sufficiency after a crisis.

Hand Up Youth Food Pantry - The Hand Up Youth Food Pantry is dedicated to alleviating hunger in San Diego County. Run by a dedicated committee of teenagers, the Hand Up Youth Food Pantry distributes food to more than 11 different locations throughout the county. Special food drives are held during Thanksgiving and Passover.

Jewish Employment Network (JEN) - The Jewish Employment Network supports our clients in their job search and helps connect Jewish community members with employers.

JFS Economic Crisis Response - This economic crisis is affecting everyone--including the Jewish community. We're offering several programs, workshops, and services to meet the growing needs of our community during these tough times.

JFS Disaster Response - We know what it takes to recover from a natural disaster. We were there after the 2004 wildfires, after Hurricane Katrina, and after the 2007 wildfires. We stand ready and prepared to help.

Psychiatric Case Management - Our Psychiatric Case Management programs are dedicated to helping mentally ill individuals to live independently, socialize, and manage the symptoms of their illness.
