Our Case Management programs are dedicated to providing services critical to the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of our clients. Professional case managers work to empower each client to reach a higher level of functioning.
Programs and Services
Breast Cancer Case Management - Our Breast Cancer Case Manager, funded by Susan G. Komen for the Cure, is dedicated to offering specialized assistance and support during the difficult and overwhelming period after receiving a breast cancer diagnosis. The case manager works with each client in their own home or community, based on individual needs.
Crisis, Medical, and Psychiatric Case Management - Our Case Managers work with Jewish individuals and families who come to our program with an array of needs, including:
- Financial emergencies
- Lack of housing/homelessness
- Food insufficiency
- Unemployment/Vocational Needs
- Medical concerns or need for resources
- Legal issues
- Mental health challenges
- Drug or substance abuse
Employment & Career Services -
Assists clients with obtaining the necessary tools for a successful job
search. Services include educational workshops, personalized job search
assistance, resume writing, and networking opportunities. Additional
services for Jewish clients.
Financial Literacy Services - A variety of JFS programs offer financial workshops from basic financial literacy to considering bankruptcy. We work to empower our clients to remain or return to self-sufficiency.
Hand Up Youth Food Pantry - Distributes food throughout San Diego County with a case manager on site to provide necessary referrals and resources for clients with additional needs.
Intensive Psychiatric Case Management
- Provides extensive weekly case management services in the community for Jewish clients diagnosed with a serious mental illness.
Military Case Management – Offers individualized assistance to military families who are having difficulty financially meeting their basic needs.
Project SARAH Case Management – Provides crisis intervention, crucial resources, and supportive services to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence.
Ways to Work
Ways to Work program provides low-interest car loans and education to
credit-challenged, working families. Our loan program not only strives
to improve family situations, but also to promote financial literacy and
long-term stability.
