Adolescent Family Life Program

The Adolescent Family Life Program (AFLP) addresses the social, health, educational, and economic challenges of adolescent pregnancy by providing comprehensive case management services to expectant and parenting youth.

Balboa Avenue Older Adult Center

Monday – Thursday, 10:00am – 2:00pm, at JFS – Joan & Irwin Jacobs Campus, appropriate for clients with dementia and physical challenges.

Breaking Down Barriers

An outreach program that works with underserved communities to talk about mental wellness.

CalFresh Assistance

If you need help applying for CalFresh, also known as SNAP benefits, we can help walk you through the application process and assist with submitting supporting documentation and annual recertification.

Community Case Management

Assistance for individuals and families in crisis, including resource navigation, service coordination, and one-on-one support.

Community/Drive-Thru Distributions

A volunteer-supported food pantry, operating an onsite Corner Market and community food distributions for military and low-income families in San Diego.

Congregate Dining

We offer in-person congregate dining throughout San Diego for adults aged 60 years and older. All lunches are served Kosher Style.

Desert Vista and Desert Rose

Permanent supportive housing programs for homeless individuals living with disabilities.

Family Support Liaison Program

Our prevention and family preservation strategies will help you navigate the child welfare system, connect to community resources, and increase your network of support—all with the goal of keeping your children safe and your family together.

Hand Up Food Pantry

A volunteer-supported food pantry, operating an onsite market and community food distributions for military and low-income families in San Diego. Order non-perishable items online and receive fresh produce* when you pick up.

Higher Education Legal Services

JFS Immigration Attorneys and Department of Justice Representatives are available to offer personalized Immigration Legal Services to students, staff, and faculty at selected local colleges.

Home-Delivered Meals

Discover the benefits of our meal delivery service for seniors, including nutritious meals and wellness check-ins with every delivery.

Immigration Legal Services Department

Immigration attorneys and Department of Justice accredited representatives dedicated to educating and advocating on behalf of immigrants and refugees.

Intimate Partner Violence Support Services

For individuals experiencing family violence. Services include: crisis intervention, support groups, safety planning, and resource coordination.

Jewish Community Services

Our team offer critical relief services and free resources for individuals and families in the Jewish community who need assistance.

Jewish Friendly Match

Matches older adults with caring volunteers who offer companionship and a steady connection to the community through weekly in-home visits.

JFS Fix-It Service

Free minor home-safety repairs for low‑income older adults.

JFS-David Rubenstein Memorial Scholarship

Offers financial assistance to students from the San Diego Jewish community who plan to attend college or vocational school.
