Jewish Community - JFSSD
Moving Forward Together

A Home for Tikkun Olam (Repairing the World) and community connection.

For more than a century, Jewish Family Service has served as a trusted resource for care, compassion, and support for San Diego’s Jewish community.  Our integrated model of care ensures that Jewish community members can access emotional support, critical care, and wraparound services all in one place.

Through programs that support mental health, older adults, healthy relationships, safety, food security, and financial stability, we help individuals move from crisis to stability and from isolation to connection. When people have access to the right mix of support practical resources, trusted relationships, and meaningful engagement they experience measurable improvements in resilience, safety, and overall wellbeing.

About Jewish Community at JFS

More profoundly than who we serve, our identity as a Jewish agency speaks to why we serve. Guided by the value of tikkun olam, repairing the world, we strive to be a vital resource for all of San Diego. We celebrate the diversity of our staff, supporters, clients, and volunteers and find unity in the strong community we are building together.

We provide critical services to the Jewish community including older adults, Holocaust Survivors, and Jewish individuals and families during their most challenging times. Each individual has a story. And in recognizing that, our approach honors the dignity of every unique person who turns to us.
