Since 1918, Jewish Family Service has been an important source of support for community members facing seemingly insurmountable challenges. And generation after generation, our Friends of the Family have stepped up with the financial support to help them move forward.
With an annual investment of $1,200 or more, Friends make it possible for parents to put food on the table, for older adults to remain in the homes, and for refugees to find their place in our community. Together, we touch the lives of tens of thousands of people every year.
Friends enjoy a unique connection to JFS and each other. Exclusive film screenings, hosted receptions, and private panel discussions are just a few of the events our Friends enjoy throughout the year. We’d love to talk to you about joining this special group.
Contact Sol Kempinski, Director of Philanthropy, to start the conversation or to schedule a tour of the Joan & Irwin Jacobs Campus and see firsthand how we make a difference in the community. We look forward to hearing from you!
Homelessness. Isolation. Poverty. When we think about the complex challenges facing San Diego, the solutions can feel bigger than any one of us. But every day, for people in our community, your support makes the difference that transforms their lives.
