Recovery Action Fund for Tomorrow

RAFT

Welcome to The Recovery Action Fund for Tomorrow (RAFT) Webpage!

Our application period is now closed.

About

After providing our first cash distributions to families through the SDEC GIP, the need for expanded approaches to support more families, seniors on fixed incomes, and residents at risk of homelessness who suffered disproportionately from the COVID-19 pandemic emerged. RAFT will provide one-time cash distributions in the amount of $4,000 to families with children under 18 years of age and seniors, prioritizing those at risk of homelessness. This fund addresses the growing need for flexible funds, will connect recipients to resources that help them maximize the receipt of these funds and support them in planning for their future. The program will serve residents of the 39 Health Equity ZIP codes of San Diego County and focus on households earning 200% or less of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL).
