The Positive Parenting Program (PPP) helps parents in San Diego County find positive solutions to common childhood behavior issues using strategies proven by more than 35 years of research. The curriculum is based on Triple P, an evidenced-based program that has been shown to promote family harmony, reduce parent-child conflict, foster successful peer relationships, and prepare children for successful experiences at school.

The Positive Parenting Program offers a variety of ways to learn new parenting techniques. Choose from larger public seminars, small group sessions, or individualized consultations — all led by Triple P certified parent educators.
Workshops are offered in English and Spanish at sites across San Diego. Priority is given to low-income preschools, elementary schools, and military families. The program is free to parents, and onsite childcare can be provided at no-cost.
Group Sessions (smaller groups)
8 interactive sessions consisting of 5 two-hour group meetings and 3 shorter individual meetings.
Live Webinar Series (larger groups)
3 sessions lasting approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes each.
Individual Sessions
4 private sessions lasting approximately 45 minutes each.
