At JFS, we’re committed to fighting hunger and making sure that everyone in our community is food secure.
Our reason for this is clear: We know that when families have enough to eat, they can more easily afford other necessities, fulfill their potential at work and school, and focus on long-term goals.
JFS is proud to partner with the San Diego Food Bank to deliver this program which works to improve the health of low-income families by supplementing their diets with nutritious foods. The monthly menu includes a variety of canned foods, dry grains, canned proteins, and other nutritious items.
Online ordering for curbside pickup at JFS provides an opportunity for individuals and families to select from a changing list of non-perishable food items, then choose a day and time to pick up your order. When you come to collect your order, you will also select from a variety of fresh produce to supplement your order.
