Moving Forward Together

Special Recognition Opportunity

Every night, hundreds of people find safety, security, and stability at one of JFS’s five — soon to be six — Safe Parking lots in San Diego County. Most of the participants have never experienced homelessness before, and an increasing number are older adults on a fixed income. People like Maria and Rudy, who sheltered with us for several months before transitioning to stable housing.

Maria and Rudy

“A kitchen to cook fresh food, a bathroom to take care of ourselves, and a bedroom to sleep in comfort without worry. I will never take any of this for granted.”

– Maria

Bring Dignity and Support to Our Unhoused Neighbors

Your generosity will help complete the new comfort facility at the Joan & Irwin Jacobs Campus — a welcoming space for Safe Parking participants to get ready for work or school with the simple comforts of home, including private bathrooms and hot showers. A dignified environment to help support people who are working hard to lift themselves and their families out of a challenging situation.

The Liebermensch Family Comfort Facility

This dedicated space will be equipped with ADA-accessible showers, baby changing stations, and full-sized restrooms with ADA-accessible grab bars.
