Mandarin or Tagalog Speakers
Our weekly distribution at St. Paul’s sees a wide diversity of clients in need of food assistance. Among these clients are many monolingual Mandarin and Tagalog speakers with whom we often have trouble communicating. These volunteers would help us by translating, communicating important information, and clarifying distribution details with clients.
Food Donation Driver
Hand Up receives regular donations from local businesses. Donated goods are redistributed at our program’s 12 distribution sites. The Volunteer Food Donation Driver contributes to the Hand Up team by managing the donation pickups.
Client Choice Pantry
The Client Choice Pantry Assistants will have the opportunity to assist clients in a brand new food pantry as they shop, help answer questions about the shopping process, provide information on healthy food choices, and collect client information. Be a part of this exciting new opportunity!
