Our Counseling Services
The Behavioral Health Committee, founded by Linda Janon, supports Jewish Family Service of San Diego in its efforts to provide behavioral health services that foster self-sufficiency and community engagement for individuals and their families through education and outreach. The Committee holds two community events per year that inform and promote awareness on subjects related to behavioral health.
Each spring, the BHC holds an annual Behavioral Health Luncheon in support of mental health awareness. The committee is also responsible for other educational events throughout the year.
The BHC's vision ultimately led to the creation of our Intensive Psychiatric Case Management Program, which maximizes the ability of chronically mentally ill individuals to live independent lives.
